Help with technology

Student Learning have a collection of pages to help you with everyday technology and eLearning resources. From how to log in to Moodle to how to manage tables in MS word or Google, how to download lecture videos in Panopto to how to do a hanging indent, how to make pivot tables in Excel, how to make transitions in PowerPoint or Prezi, ... and more.

Advice from a student

Make sure you have reliable and up-to-date computer, a printer, a reliable modem, and lots of stationery.  We live in an area that does not currently have access to the ultrafast fibre broadband, so still using the old copper network.  It took me a good month to realise my modem was old and not working effectively, and with 5 people in the house all using devices it was soooo slow.  A lot of angst and wasted time (and more grey hairs) trying to access Moodle in the evenings.  I convinced Spark to send me a high end premium business modem for a fraction of the price...what a difference!
