Beta Alpha Psi - Waikato chapter
Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) is an international honorary organisation for accounting, finance and information systems students and professionals.
It has a vision to shape business professions by developing its members into ethical, professional, and confident leaders.
To achieve this, the Waikato chapter of BAP provides accounting students with opportunities for self-development, service, and interaction with practicing professionals, encourages a sense of ethical, social and public responsibility, while promoting the study and practice of accountancy.
BAP provides an essential link between taught theory and practice by providing a safe environment for students to interact, develop skills, and build relationships with potential employers.
BAP aims to have an impact on students by developing their leadership skills, installing a commitment to lifelong professional development and ethical behaviour, and rewarding academic success through full membership.
As a result, BAP actively contributes in establishing well-rounded and skilful Waikato graduates.
